Frequently Asked Questions
This depends on where the shipment is being collected in Sweden, current flight schedules and the final destination. Let us know your travel date and expected arrival, and we will advise you of the latest possible collection or delivery date..
No. You are free to use whatever packaging best suits your shipment, such as suitcases, cardboard boxes or other suitable containers.
The packaging must be strong enough to withstand normal air freight handling. Please note that any wooden packaging must comply with ISPM 15 regulations.
If you have booked transport to the destination airport, you should contact the cargo import department at the airport cargo terminal, which is usually located within or close to the airport.
Your Air Waybill (AWB) number will be used as your shipment reference.
You are responsible for ensuring that your shipment is properly packed to withstand normal transport and handling.
Please note that, in most cases, the airline will only accept liability if the external packaging also shows visible signs of damage.
Unless transport insurance has been arranged, your shipment will travel uninsured.
Please contact us if you would like information about our cargo insurance options.
In the event of loss or visible damage, the airline’s liability is normally limited to approximately USD 20 per kilogram, in accordance with the applicable international transport conventions.
Any claim must be submitted in writing within seven days of receiving the shipment.
Visible damage must be reported immediately when collecting the goods, and a written damage report should be requested from the cargo terminal.
The same applies if fewer packages are delivered than stated on the Air Waybill. The consignee must then submit the claim directly to the airline or its local representative.
Not in principle. However, there may be restrictions on the maximum dimensions and, in some cases, the maximum weight per package. These limits depend on the aircraft operating each stage of the journey.
For air freight, 1 cubic metre equals 167 kg of volumetric weight.
Airlines always charge based on whichever is greater: the actual gross weight or the volumetric weight.
